Digital signature

The digital signature supports the creation of an electronic signature or an electronic seal.

 

The digital signature is a conversion of a promise or consent with the help of modern encryption (cryptography). This digitally generated evidence is embedded or attached to the document.

 

The digital signature enables the recipient to assign the document to the signing persons (signatories) and to check or prove the integrity of the content. ​

What is a digital signature made of?

Digital signatures is a data structure based on international standards and includes, among other things, the hash value of the signed content, digital certificates, revocation information, time stamps and a raw signature.
