Electronic signature
An electronic signature is essentially the equivalent of a handwritten signature. In doing so, data in electronic form are attached to other electronic object data as evidence of an intention.
An intention can, for example, be a confirmation, the declaration of consent, i.e. in the sense of consent (consent, approval), an expression of will or an expression of mutual agreement.
With regard to the electronic signature, object data are, for example, electronic contracts, confidentiality agreements, offers, reports, protocols, powers of attorney, etc.
An electronic seal, on the other hand, only ensures the origin and integrity of the data.
